The Happiness Project has a good wee post on cultivating gratitude today:
A study showed that people who daily reflected on five things they appreciated felt happier, had more energy, and slept better. People who worked on their gratitude even exercised more!
see here.
One of the things I really like about The Happiness Project is that it is one of those blogs that inspires you to change, not through inspirational ideals, but by an example of a life transformed by thousands of little choices.
Hi Mary,
Good thoughts! Hello Scotland. This is my first time to go international with an email, that I know of. Gratitude seems to be self-perpetuating. The more I find to be grateful, the more I find to be grateful for! You may have to read that twice!. Have a great day!
I am so thankful that God has brought me through breast
cancer and radiation treatments and I am feeling good.
Thankful for family and friends who prayed for my healing
and strength to endure this terrible disease called CANCER.
Thankful for each day I am given to live.
